The subcompact 2020 Chevrolet Trax has a small footprint that makes it easy to move in and out of tight spaces, making it perfect for urban driving. With optional four-wheel drive, the Trax will drive effortlessly along curvy rural roads, so you can take it along on weekend drives to the country. Buyers get a choice of three trim levels at the Mountain Home Chevrolet dealer: LS, LT and Premier. The 2020 Trax is equipped with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, teamed to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2020 Chevrolet Trax will provide you with years of driving pleasure, especially if you keep it maintained at the Mountain Home Chevy dealer according to the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule.
Chevrolet recommends that owners bring the 2020 Trax in for service every 7,500 miles. Each service visit includes a specific set of maintenance procedures, depending on the vehicle’s mileage. When you bring your Trax to Con Paulos Chevrolet for routine maintenance, our expert technicians will inspect its chief components, ensuring that you’ll drive smoothly and safely.
Here’s a brief rundown of the services performed by the technician during some of the scheduled maintenance visits:
7,500 miles: During this first maintenance visit, the mechanics will change the engine oil and filter. They’ll also replace the air filter, if needed. The service technicians will also inspect your vehicle’s fuel system, ignition transmission lock, automatic transmission shift lock, tires and accelerator pedal.
15,000 miles: This visit includes the same services as the previous service visit. The technicians will also inspect the wipers to see if they need replacement.
22,500 miles: This visit also includes the same services as the 7,500-mile maintenance visit. Additionally, the mechanics will replace the passenger compartment air filter.
30,000 miles: This includes the same maintenance services as the 15,000-mile visit.
37,500 miles: This maintenance visit includes the same services as the 7,500-mile visit.
45,000 miles: This visit comes with the services of the 7,500-mile visit plus an inspection of the evaporative control system as well as replacement of the engine air cleaner filter and passenger compartment air filter.
It’s a good idea to check the oil of your Trax whenever you fuel it to make sure it’s filled to the proper level. If it’s low on oil, add the right kind of oil. If you’re not sure which type of oil to use, check your car’s owner’s manual or call the Con Paulos Chevrolet Service Center. We’re always happy to help.
Don’t skip a scheduled maintenance visit and never put off service for more than 600 miles. Regular oil changes will keep your engine lubricated and will help prevent engine damage.
We recommend checking the tires once a month for wear. Keep the tires properly inflated, as driving on under- or over-inflated tires can be dangerous and may lead to shorter tire life.
