2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Trim Levels
According to the Kimberly Chevy dealer, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD is offered in eight trim levels: Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ and High Country.
The Silverado 1500 LTD gets more features as you step up to the higher trims. At the top of the lineup, the High Country trim comes with the 5.3-liter V8 engine, 20-inch wheels, high-intensity headlights, heated and ventilated front seats, a power-operated tailgate, a spray-on bedliner, chrome assist steps, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a Bose audio system.
The 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD has four engines on offer:
- A 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine puts out 310 hp and 348 lb-ft of torque, matched to an eight-speed automatic. This engine is standard in the WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST and LT Trail Boss.
- A 5.3-liter V8 generating 355 hp and 385 lb-ft, coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission, is available in the Custom Trail Boss and higher trims.
- A 6.2-liter V8 developing 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, teamed to a 10-speed automatic, is optional in four-wheel-drive versions of the RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ and High Country.
- A 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder engine producing 277 hp and 460 lb-ft, linked to a 10-speed automatic, is available in every four-wheel-drive model, except the Custom.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Work TruckThe Silverado 1500 LTD Work Truck trim is the only model buyers can get as a regular cab. It comes with 17-inch steel wheels, manual windows and door locks, automatic on/off halogen headlights, a 40/20/40 split-bench seat, a tilt-only steering wheel, air conditioning, vinyl upholstery and a rearview camera. Also standard is a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an audio system with two speakers, Bluetooth and a USB port. Double Cab and Crew Cab models come with a six-speaker audio system and power windows and door locks.
2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD CustomThe Silverado 1500 LTD Custom trim comes in Double Cab and Crew Cab configurations. Standard features include 20-inch alloy wheels, remote start, remote keyless entry, heated power mirrors, cloth seating, an LED cargo-bed light, trailer-hitch guidance, an EZ Lift tailgate with a power lock, a trailering package, cruise control and an antitheft alarm system. The infotainment system gets a six-speaker stereo system, a Wi-Fi hot spot, satellite radio capability, and OnStar connected services.
2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Custom Trail BossThe Silverado 1500 LTD Custom Trail Boss is an exceptional off-roader. It comes with four-wheel drive, 18-inch alloy wheels, Rancho monotube shocks, and a 2-inch suspension lift. It also includes the Z71 off-road package, which features a two-speed transfer case, an automatic locking rear differential, hill-descent control and a skidplate.
2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD LTThe Silverado 1500 LTD LT trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, keyless entry and push-button start, heated front outboard seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a heated tilt/telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear-window defogger, a 12.3-inch driver-configurable color info-gauge display, front under-seat storage, and an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen.
2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD RSTThe Silverado 1500 LTD RST Double Cab models are front-wheel drive only. This trim adds 18-inch aluminum wheels, a single-speed transfer case, LED taillights and LED foglights.
2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD LT Trail BossThe Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTF LT Trail Boss starts with the features of the RST trim and adds the equipment of the Custom Trail Boss trim.
2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD LTZThe Silverado 1500 LTD LTZ includes 20-inch polished wheels, external engine-oil and transmission-oil coolers, leather front bucket seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, rear heated outboard seats, an auto-dimming driver’s-side outboard mirror, power-folding outboard mirrors, an Advanced Trailering System, an integrated trailer-brake control and a rear power-sliding window, a power-operated tailgate and two 120-volt power outlets. Advanced safety features that come standard include blind-spot monitoring, front-rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert and lane-departure alert.

It adds 20-inch painted aluminum wheels, upgraded LED headlights, 6-inch chrome running boards, perforated leather upholstery, a spray-on bed liner, and a seven-speaker Bose audio system.
