The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a full-size truck that comes in nine trim levels at the Kimberly Chevy dealer: Work Truck (WT), Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, ZR2, LTZ, and High Country. Like most full-size trucks, the Silverado is offered in different cab and bed configurations.
2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Work Truck (WT)
The base Silverado 1500 Work Truck trim is powered by a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine generating 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. An available 5.3-liter V8 develops 355 hp and 383 lb-ft, mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Standard features include power windows and door locks, air conditioning, vinyl seat upholstery, rubber floor covering, a 7-inch touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Advanced safety features include forward collision warning with automatic braking, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance.
2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom
The Custom trim opens the door to the extended- and crew-cab configurations. It’s powered by the 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine. It comes with remote engine start, cruise control, cloth upholstery, LED cargo bed lighting, heated power-adjustable exterior mirrors, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a trailering package, hitch guidance lines for the backup camera, and 120-volt power outlets.
2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss
The Custom Trail Boss comes with the four-cylinder engine. Buyers can choose the available 5.3-liter V8 or a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine generating 305 hp and 495 lb-ft, teamed to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This trim starts with the features of the Custom and adds off-road capability and appearance features, including four-wheel drive, 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, the Z71 off-road suspension package, a two-speed transfer case, an automatic locking rear differential, underbody skid plates, and hill descent control.
2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT
The Silverado 1500 LT trim gets the same engines as the Custom Trail Boss. It adds LED headlights, keyless ignition and entry, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster display, a 13.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, and enhanced Google-based voice control.
2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST
The RST trim allows buyers to choose an available 6.2-liter V8 engine that puts out 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This trim includes sporty appearance features.
2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss
The LT Trail Boss trim is offered with any of the pickup’s engines. It starts with the features of the Custom Trail Boss and adds LED headlights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2
The ZR2 trim is the perfect choice for off-roaders. Buyers can choose between the 6.2-liter V8 engine and the diesel powerplant. It builds on the features of the LT Trail Boss with all-wheel drive, 33-inch all-terrain tires, a full-size spare tire, electronic locking front and rear differentials, off-road-specific suspension dampers, upgraded skid plates, ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated rear seats, and a spray-in bedliner. The LTZ trim is only offered as a crew cab. All engines are available except the base four-cylinder.
